COVID-19 Community Letter June 15, 2021
Dear Residents and families,
We are writing to provide you additional updates regarding COVID-19, or Coronavirus, and our continued preventive actions.
On June 14th, Auburn Post Acute coordinated a facility-wide COVID-19 testing of all residents. The results were received today, July 15th which indicated seven (7) residents who tested positive for COVID-19. The facility will be testing all staff today, June 15th and will notify all residents and families. Any staff members will be on a 14-day quarantine and the COVID positive residents have been moved to prevent further spread. The families of these residents have already received a phone call and we are in the process of notifying the families of our other residents to let them know the update and the precautionary measures we are taking to ensure that their loved ones are well cared for and safe. All residents continue to be actively monitored for all signs or symptoms of the virus.
Please note, if a positive test result is produced from the facility-wide testing, phone calls will be made to all resident families, guardians, and powers of attorney. We will also be updating our facility’s website www.auburnpost-acute.com as the situation continues to evolve.
The safety of our residents and families continues to be our top priority and we are doing all we can to protect those we serve. To assist with resident safety, we will be conducting bi-weekly COVID-19 testing of all staff and residents until the virus is eradicated from our facility. We appreciate everyone’s support and understanding during this incredibly challenging time. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Jacob Johnson – Operations Manager
