Dear Residents and families,
We are writing to provide you additional updates regarding COVID-19, or Coronavirus, and our continued preventive actions.
Auburn Post Acute coordinated a facility-wide COVID-19 testing of all residents and staff. The results were received from our last round of testing indicates no new staff or residents testing positive for COVID-19 and current number is still 16. The facility will be actively testing for COVID-19 per regulations set forth by the King County Health department. We will notify all staff, residents and families when things change. Any staff members will be on a 14-day quarantine and the COVID positive residents have been moved to prevent further spread. The families of these residents have already received a phone call and we are in the process of notifying the families of our other residents to let them know the update and the precautionary measures we are taking to ensure that their loved ones are well cared for and safe. All residents continue to be actively monitored for all signs or symptoms of the virus.
Please note, if a positive test result is produced from the facility-wide testing we will be updating our facility’s website www.auburnpost-acute.com as the situation continues to evolve.
The safety of our residents and families continues to be our top priority and we are doing all we can to protect those we serve. To assist with resident safety, we will be conducting bi-weekly COVID-19 testing of all staff and residents until the virus is eradicated from our facility. We appreciate everyone’s support and understanding during this incredibly challenging time. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Mark Michaels - Administrator
